Cauldeen is Cool

'Chocolate & Chips'

This is an eTwinning project for early years infant classes in Cauldeen Primary in Scotland with a partner school in Malta on the theme of healthy lifestyles. We are exchanging class lessons and pedagogy between teaching staff and activities, digital video, digital photos and presentations and emails between pupils. We are looking for interesting ways to expand and extend the ideas. All comments or suggestions welcome!!

We have a number of new eTwinning projects running in our school this session. This includes using ICT as a tool for exchanging local study information using location specific soft toys with schools in Poland and Gozo. Our soft toy which we sent out to our partner schools is a 'Nessie'. These projects are titled 'Virtual Visits'. Our Primary 3/4 class also has electronic links with a school in America based on the same theme.
Our pupils are also exchanging 'Cultural Events' with all our partner schools using email, Power point presentations and digital photographs. Our Primary 1/2 class is exchanging lessons and information based around the theme of healthy lifestyles with their partner school in Malta. This project is called 'Chocolate and Chips'

For more ideas and possible partners visit the Gallery and the Meeting Point at www.etwinning.net and take your children on a European adventure of learning, new friendships and fun.

This is our first blog. We hope to use this blog for the pupils going on an eTwinning European Award Trip to Lanzarote later in the year.
The project which won the award was called 'Talking through Time' and involved our pupils digitally recording local veterans and senior community members and exchanging, comparing and contrasting the experiences with our partner school in Malta.
